Public Service Announcement
November is Backup Awareness Month at this here site, so I'm going to take the opportunity to remind you to BACK UP YOUR STUFF.
Since experiencing my first hard drive crash three years ago, I've been really good about backing up. I make a clone of my hard drive weekly (at least) (ideally) and I also use Backblaze, an online service which backs up all my personal files automatically, constantly, in the background.
But still, I had a minor scare with my computer this week. Why does this always happen in November? Anyway, I resurrected my hard drive but I was reminded of the importance of making frequent backups. Do it. Now.

I lost my laptop last year... on my birthday... in Kona. Happy F'n Birthday, right? There was a lot of crying. I'm just glad I had all the important pictures uploaded to facebook. That's what facebook is for, right? :)
