Up, down, up, down, repeat
Hill repeats! On foot or on my bike, I love to hate them. Sometimes I just love them. Once you get going it does feel nice to just climb, climb away.
Today I did Twin Peaks repeats on my bike. I like this workout because sometimes my life seems to revolve around Sutro Tower. I live right under it, but I can see it from sixty miles away on a clear day when I'm hiking in Marin or driving home from the Central Valley. Today's workout up and around Twin Peaks had me doing actual circles around the giant antenna. I'm pretty sure I did the tightest possible circumnavigation of the tower on paved roads. I'd have to go on foot to get any closer. And yes, I've done that too. There is a lot of poison oak up there.
