Not complaining, but...
This was my race schedule for the year (with some non-race bike events):
2/3 - Kaiser Permanente half-marathon. Ran it with a cast on my left arm. In the rain and howling wind. Had a pretty good race... especially considering that I took eight days off of running in January when I broke my wrist.
4/13 - Ironman Arizona. Finished 29 minutes off my goal in challenging conditions. Slightly disappointing, but overall a success.
5/4 - Grizzly Peak Century. Climbed strongly and had a great time.
5/10 - Angels Camp Triathlon. Won my age group! woo!
5/30 - See Jane Run half-marathon. Did not run due to knee issues.
6/14 - Mermaid Triathlon. Did not race because my grandma passed away and I spent the week leading up to the race with family.
6/19 - Splash-n-Dash #1. Swim/run. Raced with the tail end of a cold, finished 13th out of 27 women.
6/28 - Giro di Peninsula century ride. Did not ride because my grandma's memorial was the next day in Southern California. Lost my $65 registration fee, but at least it went to a great cause.
7/13 - Donner Lake Triathlon. Canceled due to smoke. Will get free entry to next year's race.
7/17 - Splash-n-Dash #2. Still planning to race.
8/2 - Barb's Race. Half-ironman. Will not race because knee problems have kept me from doing the long runs I need.
9/7 - Big Kahuna Triathlon. Half-ironman. We'll see if I can get enough long runs in by then.
9/21 - Sentinel Triathlon. Olympic distance. Still planning to race.
So basically I probably should have stopped and called it a year when I peaked at Angel's Camp.

I'm impressed!
