The fish have provided a brief moment of motivation
I placed 21st out of 53 women in the Salmon Duathlon, 6th out of 15 in my age group. Now of course I'm wondering how much better I could have done if I had ridden my bike a bit more before this race (like more than once a week) and done some run speedwork. Next year!
