Furniture Curse part 2, and I hope it's the conclusion
Do you believe in jinxes, internet? Because I'm wondering if I jinxed myself when I wrote about our furniture curse.
The dining table I mentioned was scheduled for delivery on Saturday. The truck arrived 20 minutes early. When I buzzed the delivery guys in the front gate, they greeted me with "We're afraid there's some bad news." Words I am sick of hearing. The table top was somehow damaged en route.
For bearers of bad news, these guys rocked. They had already arranged for the exchange and they were very, very apologetic.
So. Another month until we get our table. I had already bought the ingredients to make a feast, but the moussaka tasted just as good on our crappy little college-era table.
